Home Groups

Since the very beginning of the church as we know it, the body of Christ has found its strength and form in building relationships with each other. The divine Head, in His wisdom, purposed that the members come together to make a whole, living, moving, breathing congregation. Each of these, though able to accomplish little on his or her own, would be drawn by The Spirit to each other and become a powerful force with which the enemy could not reckon. It is with this purpose and design in mind that led Hickory Grove to develop Home Groups. Paul tells us that in the early days of the church, “continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” ()NKJV47, –Acts 2:46
